1. Introduction

EXPORT AGENCIES ("we," "us," or "our") operates CargoStock (the "Application"), an offline inventory management application designed to help export agencies and businesses manage product entries, stock quantities, categories, SKU codes, and inventory records directly on their Android devices.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you manage through CargoStock. The Application is designed to operate entirely offline without requiring an account, collecting personal information, or transmitting inventory records to external servers.

This Privacy Policy explains how CargoStock handles information, stores inventory records, protects locally stored data, and provides users with control over their information.

By using CargoStock, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

CargoStock does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information or device information with us or any third party.

The Application does not require users to provide personal details to access its inventory management features.

Specifically, CargoStock does not collect:

  • Personal Information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, residential addresses, account credentials, or other personally identifiable information.

  • Device Identifiers: Advertising IDs, IMEI numbers, MAC addresses, or other device identifiers.

  • Location Information: GPS coordinates, precise location, or approximate location data.

  • Usage and Analytics Data: App usage patterns, screen activity, session duration, advertising interactions, or behavioral analytics.

  • Diagnostic and Crash Data: Crash reports, performance telemetry, or diagnostic information transmitted to external services.

  • Sensitive Device Information: Contacts, call logs, messages, camera content, microphone recordings, or other unrelated personal information.

CargoStock does not require registration, sign-in, or an online account.

Inventory Information Entered by Users

Users may enter business inventory information, including:

  • Product names or titles.

  • SKU codes or internal product identifiers.

  • Product categories.

  • Units of measurement.

  • Stock quantities and inventory status.

  • Product descriptions or notes.

  • Stock movement records, where supported by the Application.

This information is entered voluntarily by users and is processed locally on their devices to provide the Application's intended functionality.

Users should avoid entering unnecessary personal or confidential information into product descriptions or notes.

3. How Information Is Used

CargoStock processes locally entered inventory information solely to provide its inventory management features.

Depending on the features available in the installed version, this may include:

  • Creating, viewing, editing, and deleting product entries.

  • Organizing products by category or other available attributes.

  • Recording and displaying stock quantities.

  • Calculating inventory totals and stock summaries.

  • Identifying low-stock or out-of-stock items.

  • Searching, sorting, and filtering inventory records.

  • Maintaining relevant stock movement records.

  • Displaying inventory information within the Application.

These operations are performed on the user's device. We do not receive the inventory information and do not use it for advertising, profiling, analytics, marketing, or any unrelated purpose.

4. Data Storage and Local Processing

All inventory information created within CargoStock is stored locally on the user's Android device in the Application's private internal storage.

The Application uses a local SQLite database, managed through the Android Room persistence library, to organize and maintain inventory records.

The data is stored within the Application's private storage environment and is not intentionally transmitted to external servers or cloud services.

CargoStock is designed to operate without an internet connection and does not require access to an online account or hosted backend for its core inventory management functionality.

Important: Local storage means that inventory records may become unavailable if the Application's data is cleared, the Application is uninstalled, or the device is lost, damaged, or reset. Users should maintain any necessary independent business records.

5. Internet Access and Network Communication

CargoStock is designed as an offline-first inventory management application.

The Application does not require internet access to perform its core functions and, in the version covered by this policy, does not request the Android INTERNET permission.

Consequently, the Application is not designed to upload inventory records, synchronize information with cloud storage, communicate with a remote database, or transmit user information over the internet.

This statement describes the Application's intended implementation and should be kept consistent with the permissions, dependencies, and functionality of the version distributed through Google Play.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, license, or disclose users' inventory records or personal information to third parties.

CargoStock does not use inventory information for advertising, marketing, behavioral tracking, or commercial profiling.

Because inventory records are maintained locally and are not transmitted to us, we do not have access to the inventory information stored on users' devices through the Application.

Users remain responsible for information they choose to disclose outside the Application, including information shared through screenshots, manual copying, or other independent methods.

7. Third-Party Services and Advertising

CargoStock is designed to function without advertising networks, third-party analytics services, behavioral tracking tools, or cloud-based data processing services.

The Application does not intentionally integrate third-party services to collect or transmit users' inventory information.

It does not require third-party accounts or external authentication services for its core functionality.

If future versions introduce third-party services or features that materially change how information is handled, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate before or alongside the relevant release.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Inventory records remain on the user's device until they are deleted or removed through an applicable device or application operation.

Users can manage their locally stored information through the available Application features.

  • Individual Deletion: Users can delete individual product records through the relevant product management interface, where supported.

  • Bulk Deletion: If the installed version provides a "Clear All Inventory Data" option, users can use that feature to remove the inventory records covered by the option.

  • Application Data Reset: Clearing CargoStock's storage through Android settings may permanently remove locally stored inventory records and preferences.

  • Uninstallation: Uninstalling CargoStock generally removes its private application data from the device, subject to Android behavior and any applicable system or device-level backup mechanisms.

Deleted information may not be recoverable. Users should verify the availability of any required business records before deleting inventory data, clearing application storage, or uninstalling the Application.

Because we do not receive or maintain copies of users' inventory records on our servers, we cannot restore locally deleted records from a central database.

9. Data Security

CargoStock relies on Android's application sandbox and private internal storage mechanisms to help protect locally stored inventory information from access by other ordinary applications.

Users can further protect their information by:

  • Using a secure device PIN, password, or biometric lock.

  • Keeping Android and the Application updated.

  • Avoiding unauthorized access to their devices.

  • Avoiding rooted or otherwise compromised devices when storing sensitive business information.

  • Maintaining separate records of important inventory information when required for business continuity.

Although we take a privacy-conscious approach to application design, no electronic storage method or mobile device can be guaranteed to be completely secure. The security of locally stored data may also depend on the device's configuration, operating system, and physical security.

10. Children's Privacy

CargoStock is an inventory management tool intended for general business and productivity use, rather than an application specifically directed at children.

The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users because its intended operation does not involve collecting or transmitting personal information.

Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of mobile applications as appropriate.

This section does not constitute a guarantee of compliance with every child privacy law or every Google Play age-related requirement. Applicable obligations depend on the Application's actual audience, distribution, and use.

11. Permissions

CargoStock is designed to request only the Android permissions necessary for its implemented functionality.

Its core offline inventory management features do not require access to contacts, phone records, location, camera, microphone, or internet connectivity.

If a future version introduces a feature requiring additional permissions, the purpose and handling of the associated information will be reviewed, and this Privacy Policy will be updated where necessary.

Users can review the permissions associated with CargoStock through the application information screen in their Android device settings.

12. Data Backup and Device Transfers

CargoStock does not provide cloud synchronization or a remote inventory database as part of its intended core functionality.

The availability of local inventory records during device migration, operating system backup, or restoration may depend on Android settings and the Application's backup configuration.

Users should not assume that inventory records will transfer automatically to a new device or remain available after uninstalling the Application.

If an export, import, backup, or restore feature is introduced in a future version, its operation and privacy implications will be described in the Application and, where appropriate, in an updated version of this policy.

13. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You control the inventory information you choose to enter into CargoStock.

Depending on the features available in the installed version, you can view, edit, or delete locally stored records directly within the Application.

Since CargoStock does not collect or maintain users' inventory records on our servers, we do not operate a central user-data database from which inventory records can be accessed, corrected, or deleted upon request.

Users who have questions about this Privacy Policy or the Application's privacy practices can contact us using the details provided below.

Any rights available under applicable privacy laws remain unaffected by this section.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to CargoStock's functionality, technical implementation, applicable legal requirements, or privacy practices.

When changes are made, the revised policy will display an updated "Last Updated" date. The current version will be made available through the relevant privacy policy link or other appropriate publication channel.

Users are encouraged to review this policy periodically to understand how the Application handles information.

If a future update materially changes the Application's data handling practices, we will take appropriate steps to communicate those changes where required by applicable law or Google Play policy.
